Arokara, Papua New Guinea

Arokara, Papua New Guinea

Arokara is a co-operative of Plantations--collections of traditional "coffee gardens," small plots of as little as 20 plants grown alongside subsistence crops-- in the surrounding valley in Papua New Guinea. With over 20 years of experience in growing and processing coffee, this region has always produced a quality bean. No chemicals or fertilizers are used in the production process.

You'll taste chocolate with a noticeable spice finish.

This coffee is great when it is slow brewed in a french press or as a cold brew--the longer it brews, the more nuance you'll taste like the black currant characteristic of Papua New Guinea coffees. Many people drink it as an everyday coffee in an electric brewer as well.
