Kafa Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia

Kafa Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia

Some argue that the name 'coffee' comes from the district of Kafa in Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. The story goes that a goat herder noticed his goat acting strange after eating coffee cherries, so he consumed some himself--and the stimulant craze was born.

In this unique African coffee, you'll taste tea and lemon.

This coffee in incredibly delicate, so we recommend trying it brewed as a pour over, Fellow fill-up, or Chemex. You may find an interesting taste in an AeroPress as well. Of course, don't shy away from trying it in a regular electric brewer.

Coffee from the birthplace of coffee is sure to please the palate.

Roasted locally by Eastern Shore Coastal Roasting.
